Abstract:
Robert Lippincott was born in Ohio in 1918. In 1941 he was drafted into the Army and then admitted to officer candidate school a year later. His assignments included policing the Panama Canal Zone, working as an adjutant for prisoners of war in Germany, and as chief of military police at in the transportation division at the Oakland Army Base. He retired in 1961 after 20 years in the Army as a career officer and subsequently pursued a separate civilian career.
